Minutes from March 10, 2004, Regular Meeting were reviewed and approved. Minutes from March 10, 2004, Public Hearing Case 2004-B were reviewed and approved. Minutes from March 10, 2004, Public Hearing Warrant Articles were reviewed and approved.
Bills for clerical presented. Clerk worked 15 hours at $13.76 for a total of $206.40. The Assistant Clerk worked 45 hours at 10.18 an hour for a total of $458.10. This bill leaves a balance of $2,048.60 in the Clerical Account. The clerical bills were approved.
A bill for the Reminder invoice for March 10, Public Hearing at $122.50 leaving a balance of $352.50 in the budget was also reviewed and approved.
(1.) Shadow Wood- Joseph “Charlie” Dolben presented the Board with an extension request from Ecotec Environmental for Shadow Wood; after some discussion the Board voted and approved the request.
(2.) Scantic Meadows- John Flynn reported to the Board that the Conservation Commission is no longer using Tighe and Bond’s water specialist for the Scantic Meadow project. They are going with another firm.
(3.) Source Water Assessment- Joseph Kruzel explained a report the Board received from the DEP on water supplies in the area. The DEP makes recommendations on what should happen to primary areas and secondary areas in and around these water sources. The recommendation is the Board should keep an eye on these areas for future development.
(4.) Sidewalk Committee- Flynn told the Board he received a request from Mark Casey and Joan Day to serve on the Sidewalk Committee.
(5.) Special Permits- The Board reviewed the information they received on the Special Permits for Glennice Flynn and Alston Graham. The Public Meetings for these Permits will be held on April 14.
(6.) Soil Removal- The Board discussed the need for a permit for soil removal from Green Meadows School.
(7.) Town Meeting- Flynn will do the oral report to the Advisory Committee for the Town Meeting.
